Plans and Petitions

Blogiverse family,
Forgive me for not having posted any posts lately, I have been caught up in so many things and I honestly have not given myself the time to post a blog. I pray I can commit myself to post a blog every other week, or once a month at the least. Please pray for me as I also feel I am at a near breakthrough in my vocation(s) God has called me to.

Also, pray for us as we are brewing up, as a Catholic hip hop and rap movement, to make an anthem respectively speaking on the topic of the HHS Mandate. (A blog on this movement is in the process as well!)

A Misunderstood Generation

One of the many things about this Th0tful Journey is that it comes with Th0tful blessings.

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to be a camp leader for 2nd year confirmation class. Little did I know that God was going to open my eyes to the needs and pains of this generation. Now, when I say generation, I don't solely mean this 2nd year confirmation class of 2012, I mean the entire generation of teenagers all over the world.

Come Friday evening, restless and tired they came. In my prayer, I kept asking God to help them open their hearts on this weekend retreat. I saw some who reminded me of myself in high school. Some reminded me of my friends and some of people who I never wanted to have anything to do with. I've lived many retreats and have helped lead many as well but not one with all teens. (Know that when I mention the word teen, I kinda hurt inside because I'm feeling that "you're getting old" punch. Haha!)

A Th0tful Journey Begins

Well, here I go! I finally joined the blogiverse. Possibly a step that has been delayed but finally made.

I pray that the Lord guide me with His Holy Spirit and Holy Word as I begin this "Th0tful Journey" (Th0t pronounced thought) and that every letter I type may be filled with His grace.

It's kind of ironic how Lent is coming up and I made the commitment to give up social networking but I will be using my blog to record my spiritual journey from now on.
